To all those memories that I have made with this name. For the past year I had raised my confidence level to an all new high and had made plenty of great friends. But in this process I had lost what was most important to me, my grades and extracurricular life. I had literally let my social life take over any other activity and let my academics fall to an all time low. I’ve lost opportunities to two grand internships that I could have grasped this summer and have become an asshole to girls in a way. I have really became something I never wanted to be, always being an attention whore and always fishing for compliments. Today you sir, Steven Tan- Trung Nguyen will be what you had always be; a man of high hopes and dreams, hard work ethics, and a grand heart. This doesn’t mean I’ll be pushing everyone away, it’s just a big time in my life to focus on what really needs to be done. On that note it is finally time devoted to making my parents proud by chasing good grades ( not girls) and striving to be a benefactor to the world. Medical Anthropology and Global Health major; here I come. Get ready for me, STEVEN NGUYEN.
